So Ji Sub praised Yoon Kyung Ho and Choi Dae Hoon for helping make the SBS drama Agent Kim Reactivated a major success.

The action drama ended with a personal best nationwide rating of 23.1 percent. It also ranked No. 1 on Netflix’s global non-English television chart for three consecutive weeks.

When asked about the drama’s success, So Ji Sub first credited his two co-stars.

He said: “I wonder whether the drama could have received this much love without them. Both actors are so talented that I received a lot of help from them.”

So Ji Sub added that the three characters had very different personalities, which made their scenes enjoyable to prepare and film.

He explained: “We thought carefully about how to fill every scene when the three of us appeared together. We repeatedly rehearsed before filming, and because we prepared so thoroughly, we often received approval in one take without any mistakes.”

The actor also praised their different performance styles.

He said: “Yoon Kyung Ho is excellent at expressing his character through dialogue, while Choi Dae Hoon is very skilled at detailed and carefully calculated acting. Their individual strengths created strong synergy.”

So Ji Sub also complimented Joo Sang Wook, who filmed several intense action scenes with him.

He shared: “Joo Sang Wook completely understood his character. Even when we suggested that he wear protective equipment, he said he was fine and performed the scenes with his whole body.”

The actor added that Joo Sang Wook later appeared covered in bruises because of his dedication, joking: “At one point, I wondered whether he actually enjoyed getting hit.”

So Ji Sub’s comments highlighted the close teamwork and careful preparation behind Agent Kim Reactivated, which became one of the year’s most-watched Korean dramas.
