Actress Yoo Ji An shared how Joo Sang Wook’s thoughtful behavior helped ease her nerves while filming SBS’s recently concluded drama Agent Kim Reactivated.

During an interview on July 30, Yoo Ji An discussed working with the senior actors in the series and recalled that her first scene with Joo Sang Wook involved her character being slapped.

She explained: “Our first filming scene was the slap scene. I was actually hit once, and he continued to feel sorry about it.”

Yoo Ji An said Joo Sang Wook carefully considered how to perform the scene without causing her pain. She added: “I could see him constantly thinking about how he could slap me without hurting me, so that actually helped me relax.”

She also described Joo Sang Wook as serious and focused while working, but much more cheerful at the drama’s final gathering.

Yoo Ji An said: “He was very serious during filming, but he was so cheerful at the wrap party. He approached me first, shared funny stories, and treated me like his daughter. It made me realize once again how impressive actors can be.”

The actress also remembered So Ji Sub’s kindness on set. She shared that when they were waiting alone and she appeared nervous, he started a conversation first to help her feel comfortable.

She said: “I was nervous and stayed quiet, but So Ji Sub spoke to me first and helped me relax. I was also impressed by how kindly and carefully he guided younger actors during the action scenes.”

Yoon Kyung Ho and Choi Dae Hoon also gave Yoo Ji An encouraging advice at the wrap party.

According to Yoo Ji An, they told her: “It is rare for a debut project to receive this much attention. Do not lose confidence in your next project, and continue working hard as an actress.”

She explained that their words helped reduce the pressure she felt about choosing and preparing for her next role.
