BTS member Jimin once again showed his strong global influence after the shirt he wore during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final halftime show sold for 110,000 dollars, approximately 159 million won, at a charity auction.
According to international reports on July 29, Christie’s One Goal: Auction for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund raised a total of 652,630 dollars over one week. Collectors from 24 countries participated in the auction.
Items worn by BTS members while performing Dynamite during the World Cup final halftime show reportedly sold for a combined 300,300 dollars, making up about 46 percent of the auction’s total earnings.
Jimin’s shirt received the highest bid among the BTS items at 110,000 dollars. Other pieces included V’s scarf and Jungkook’s jacket, which each sold for 46,200 dollars.
Suga’s pants sold for 33,000 dollars, J-Hope’s gloves for 28,600 dollars, RM’s boots for 19,800 dollars, and Jin’s belt for 16,500 dollars.
The football used during the final also sold for 110,000 dollars, matching the price of Jimin’s shirt.
Other auction items included a signed 2026 Argentina home jersey from Lionel Messi that was given to Shakira, which sold for 66,000 dollars.
Madonna’s signed fingerless goalkeeper gloves from the opening performance sold for 41,800 dollars, while the Skylrk shoes worn by Justin Bieber during his acoustic performance of Everything Hallelujah sold for 26,400 dollars.
The proceeds will be donated to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children in underserved communities.
