BTS continues its strong performance on global music charts as NORMAL, a track from the group’s fifth full-length album ARIRANG, returned to the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 33.
The song first entered the chart at No. 41 on April 4 and remained listed for three weeks. It later returned following the July 17 release of its music video and Korean-language version.
According to Billboard’s latest chart dated August 1, ARIRANG climbed 17 places to No. 9 on the Billboard 200. It recorded the largest increase on the chart that week.
The album has now spent a total of 13 weeks inside the Billboard 200 top 10, extending its record as the longest-charting top 10 album by a Korean artist.
ARIRANG earned about 40,000 equivalent album units, marking a 62% increase from the previous week. Billboard noted that BTS’s performance of Dynamite during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final halftime show on July 19 may have helped increase interest in the album.
NORMAL also reached a new peak of No. 4 on the Billboard Global 200 and ranked No. 2 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.
The title track SWIM placed No. 10 on the Global 200 and No. 5 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. Six songs from ARIRANG—SWIM, NORMAL, Body to Body, 2.0, Hooligan, and FYA—have remained on the Global Excl. U.S. chart for 18 weeks.
Meanwhile, Come Over entered the chart at No. 133, while Dynamite returned at No. 140.
On Billboard’s additional charts, NORMAL ranked No. 1 on Digital Song Sales. ARIRANG rose 17 places to No. 2 on Vinyl Albums, climbed nine places to No. 3 on Top Album Sales, and moved up ten places to No. 28 on Top Streaming Albums.
The album also climbed 13 places to No. 3 on France’s SNEP Top Albums chart for the week of July 24. The result followed BTS’s BTS World Tour “ARIRANG” in Paris concerts at Stade de France on July 17 and 18.
BTS will continue the North American leg of the tour with concerts at MetLife Stadium in New York on August 1 and 2.
