The film Hope is gaining momentum at the box office after officially surpassing 3.5 million viewers, with additional attention following BTS member Jungkook’s public support.

According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated ticketing system on July 28, Hope recorded 103,416 viewers on July 27. The film’s total audience reached 3,519,117, allowing it to pass the 3.5 million viewer milestone and continue moving toward 4 million viewers.

Hope follows Beom Seok, the head of a branch office located in the Demilitarized Zone, as he faces an unexpected situation after hearing reports of a tiger appearing in the area.

The film also received renewed attention after Jungkook shared his thoughts about it on social media, writing, "Hope is fun." Director Na Hong Jin later shared Jungkook’s post, adding to the film’s growing public interest.

With its continued box office performance, viewers are now watching to see if Hope can achieve the next milestone of reaching 4 million moviegoers.
