Ahead of the final episode of Agent Kim Reactivated, So Ji Sub, Choi Dae Hoon, and Yoon Kyung Ho expressed their gratitude to viewers while looking back on the drama's most memorable moments and its successful run.
The SBS Friday-Saturday drama has maintained strong momentum, with Episode 9 surpassing a 20% viewership rating for the sixth consecutive episode. The finale is expected to bring the story's final mission to a close without revealing key outcomes in advance.
Leading actor So Ji Sub thanked everyone who supported the series throughout its broadcast.
"I sincerely thank all the viewers who loved and supported Agent Kim Reactivated," he said. "It was an honor and a pleasure to work with the directors, writer, staff, and fellow actors."
He also added, "I hope you enjoy the final episode until the very end. I won't forget the overwhelming love you've given us. Thank you so much."
When asked to choose his favorite scene, So Ji Sub pointed to the emotional ending of Episode 6, where his character reunites with his daughter. He recalled, "'Dad's here. Let's go home now.' It was the scene I looked forward to the most from the moment I read the script. Even reading it made me emotional."
Choi Dae Hoon also thanked viewers for their continued support.
"As I always say, thank you. Receiving so much interest and love gives actors tremendous energy," he shared. "I've gained a lot of strength, and I'll work hard to give it back."
He admitted he still felt overwhelmed by the response, saying, "I'm truly speechless. I'm happy, but I also feel the weight of that love. As always, I'll cherish it, shake it off, and return to the starting line to begin again."
Choi selected a scene from Episode 2 as his personal favorite, explaining that it marked the beginning of Agent Kim Reactivated's new life after welcoming Min Ji into his home following a painful loss.
Yoon Kyung Ho reflected on the strong support the cast received throughout the drama's run.
"I can't express enough gratitude to everyone who loved Agent Kim Reactivated," he said. "Wherever I went during the broadcast, people warmly greeted and encouraged me. I truly felt how much love the drama received."
He also praised the team's hard work, saying, "It was incredibly rewarding to know that the efforts of the staff and actors brought both laughter and emotion to viewers. We'll treasure our memories of Agent Kim Reactivated and return with new projects."
Ending his message with humor, Yoon added, "Thank you again to everyone who laughed and cried with Agent Kim Reactivated. I also want to cheer on all the middle-aged men who wear glasses, their families, and even those who don't wear glasses."
For his favorite scene, Yoon chose the emotional dinner shared by Agent Kim Reactivated and his daughter after their reunion in Episode 7. While calling it heartbreaking because they knew another separation was approaching, he also joked that he kept feeling sorry about the refrigerator door his character had broken.
The final episode of Agent Kim Reactivated is scheduled to air on July 25 at 9:45 p.m. KST, bringing the drama's highly successful run to a close.
