J.Y. Park is gaining attention for his impressive physique and confident presence ahead of the release of his new summer single, “WET.”
On July 20, the singer released five promotional photos showing his toned figure from different angles. The dramatic lighting and blue green background highlighted his defined abs, while his expressions and poses showed the charisma that has helped him remain active for decades.
J.Y. Park will release “WET” on July 23 at 6 PM KST. The track marks his first summer release in about six years since “When We Disco,” his 2020 duet with Sunmi.

“WET” will also serve as the main theme song for Waterbomb 2026. J.Y. Park previously described it as “a song that fits Waterbomb” and “a reggae style track that is perfect for summer.”
Music video teasers and challenge clips have already shown his relaxed dance moves, raising expectations for another energetic summer performance.
After attracting attention for his bold styling and powerful stage at Waterbomb 2025, J.Y. Park is preparing to return to the festival in Seoul on July 26 and Busan on August 8.

The singer also shared his goal of continuing to perform with the same excitement as a new artist.
“I hope I can always remain in your eyes as a singer who is as energetic as a rookie and feels excited every time he goes on stage,” he said.
J.Y. Park added, “I am so happy that I am a singer. Being able to entertain and comfort you makes me happy,” expressing his continued passion for music and live performances.
