Cha Sun Woo, who debuted as Baro of B1A4, has officially started a new chapter in his career after signing an exclusive contract with US C&M.
On July 20, the agency announced that Cha Sun Woo will continue expanding his activities as an actor across dramas, films, stage productions, and other forms of content.
US C&M stated, “Cha Sun Woo is an actor who has built his own acting range through dramas, films, and stage performances. He is also an artist with the potential to take part in various types of content”.
The company added that it will use its artist branding and production experience to help him show new sides of himself through acting and other projects.
Cha Sun Woo debuted in 2011 as Baro of B1A4. He gained attention as an actor after appearing as Binggrae in the popular 2013 tvN drama “Reply 1994”.
He later appeared in several projects, including “God’s Gift: 14 Days,” “Angry Mom,” “Less Than Evil”, and “Romance Villain”. His film credits include “Fearsome”, “The Other Child”, and “Windmill”.
As his first major project under the new agency, Cha Sun Woo will lead the upcoming film “Vertex”, which is currently a working title. He will play Su Ho, the central character in the story.
The youth music romance follows a man who gave up music and a woman who dreams of singing but has been unable to pursue her goal. Through music and humor, the film will explore their personal growth, struggles, and developing relationship.
Speaking about his new beginning, Cha Sun Woo said, “It is meaningful to begin a new chapter with US C&M”.

With a new agency and a leading film role confirmed, attention is now focused on Cha Sun Woo’s next steps as an actor.
