SBS’s hit drama “Agent Kim Reactivated” has continued its record breaking run by achieving its highest ratings yet.

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 8, which aired on July 18, recorded a nationwide rating of 23.1 percent and 23.6 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area. The episode also reached a peak rating of 26.2 percent.

Among viewers aged 20 to 49, “Agent Kim Reactivated” recorded an average rating of 7.6 percent and peaked at 8.59 percent.

The drama ranked first among all programs airing in the same time slot. It also maintained its position as the highest rated miniseries of 2026.

Since its premiere, “Agent Kim Reactivated” has broken its own ratings record with every new episode, showing strong public interest in So Ji Sub’s return as an action drama lead.

Episode 8 followed Kim Bu Jang as he accepted a dangerous final mission in exchange for the chance to begin a free life with his daughter, Min Ji.

However, the mission placed him in the middle of a complicated conflict involving a high ranking North Korean official, hidden information, and possible betrayal within his own organization.

The episode ended with Kim Bu Jang facing an unexpected threat after being told, “Your mission has failed,” raising anticipation for what will happen next.
