BIGBANG’s Daesung opened up about the group’s relationship and said he has never witnessed any serious internal conflict between the members.
On the July 17 episode of the YouTube show “Zip Daesung”, Super Junior members Kim Hee Chul and Leeteuk appeared as guests and discussed how arguments sometimes helped their group form a stronger bond.
Kim Hee Chul expressed surprise after hearing that BIGBANG had apparently never experienced a major internal dispute.
Daesung confidently replied, “An internal conflict could never happen in our group”, adding that he could not imagine such a situation.
Kim Hee Chul then asked whether G-Dragon and Taeyang, who are the same age, had ever clashed with each other.
Daesung answered, “I have never seen it happen in front of me.”
Leeteuk jokingly suggested that Daesung may have helped maintain the group’s peaceful relationship, saying, “The reason BIGBANG never had an internal conflict is because Daesung did such a good job.”
The conversation also drew attention when Daesung was asked who the youngest member of BIGBANG is now.
“I am the youngest”, he replied.
Daesung originally debuted as the group’s second youngest member, ahead of Seungri. However, he became the youngest member of BIGBANG’s current lineup after Seungri left the group in 2019.
BIGBANG is currently promoting with G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung following the departures of T.O.P and Seungri.
