Song Ji Hyo has honestly shared her current thoughts about marriage during a lighthearted conversation with rapper Nucksal.
On July 9, Nucksal appeared as a guest on Song Ji Hyo’s YouTube channel. While eating food she had prepared, the two discussed marriage, parenting, and the challenges of sharing a life with another person.
Nucksal, who is now in his fourth year of marriage and has two children, admitted that married life required major adjustments.
He said, “We started raising children without properly enjoying our newlywed life. Since we had different ways of living, we argued a lot.”
Nucksal explained that couples have more space to calm down while dating because they return to separate homes. However, marriage is different because both people continue sharing the same space.
He said, “When you are married, there is nowhere to escape,” adding that communication, understanding, and consideration are important for maintaining a healthy relationship.
After hearing his experience, Song Ji Hyo spoke honestly about her mixed feelings toward marriage.
She said, “When I hear stories like this, I start thinking that I want to get married. But when I return to reality and live my own life, the idea of marriage disappears.”
She then joked, “Maybe that is why I am still like this.”
Nucksal playfully asked whether she should first find someone she wanted to marry. Song Ji Hyo responded, “Do I not need to want marriage before a man can enter my life?”
Their casual exchange created laughter while showing Song Ji Hyo’s realistic view of relationships and marriage.
Song Ji Hyo previously revealed on “Running Man” that she had once dated someone for eight years. She said the relationship ended around four or five years earlier and that even her fellow cast members did not know the person.
