Super Junior’s Kim Hee Chul shared a warm update from his recent volunteer work with abandoned dogs.

On July 4, Kim Hee Chul posted several photos on Instagram showing himself wearing a hat and mask while holding a puppy in his arms.

Along with the photos, he added a funny caption about the puppy’s reaction to him. He wrote, “I thought of myself as a Beast Master in my own way, but in the photos, the puppy may look like it really hates me. In real life, it finds me even more annoying. We spent time together, didn’t we!”

Kim Hee Chul also revealed that he joined the volunteer activity thanks to fellow Super Junior member Ryeowook. He said, “Thanks to Ryeowook, I joined volunteer work for abandoned dogs.”

He then praised Ryeowook and the staff for their steady efforts, saying that watching them made him feel they were “truly mature adults.”

Kim Hee Chul ended his post with a heartfelt message, saying, “I hope abandoned dogs and abandoned cats will be loved for life in good homes.”

His update drew attention for showing both his humor and his warm support for animal welfare.
