SBS’s Friday Saturday drama “Agent Kim Reactivated” is quickly becoming one of the biggest drama hits of 2026.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 3 of “Agent Kim Reactivated” which aired on July 3, recorded an average rating of 19.6% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 18.8% nationwide. The episode also reached a peak rating of 23%.
With this, “Agent Kim Reactivated” broke its own highest record once again and came close to passing the 20% mark after only 3 episodes.
The drama also became the No. 1 miniseries among all channels in 2026 and topped its time slot.
The drama also showed strong performance among younger viewers, recording a peak 2049 rating of 7.5%.
With ratings rising every episode, many viewers are already naming So Ji Sub as a strong early candidate for the SBS Drama Awards Grand Prize.
In episode 3, Kim Bujang, played by So Ji Sub, continued his desperate search for his missing daughter Min Ji.
The episode showed his emotional struggle as a father, his teamwork with close friends Sung Han Su and Park Jin Chul, and a growing chase involving dangerous forces around him.
The episode also included a touching flashback between Kim Bujang and Min Ji. After secretly giving his daughter a new phone and a heart keyring, Min Ji shyly told him, “Dad, I love you,” making his current search even more emotional.
As Kim Bujang followed clues connected to Min Ji, he later broke down with guilt and said, “Why did I not notice sooner?”
The emotional scene added more weight to So Ji Sub’s performance.
With strong ratings, intense action, and emotional father daughter storytelling, “Agent Kim Reactivated” is proving its popularity and is now one of the most talked about dramas of the year.
Episode 4 of “Agent Kim Reactivated” will air on July 4 at 9:50 PM KST.
