IVE is continuing to show strong popularity in Japan with another major broadcast appearance.

According to Japan’s Nippon TV, IVE will perform on “The Music Day 2026” on July 4. The special music program will air live for about 9 hours and 30 minutes starting at 1:30 PM.

“The Music Day” is one of Nippon TV’s major summer music specials, featuring top singers and idol groups who are popular in Japan. IVE’s appearance is drawing attention as another sign of the group’s growing influence in the country.

The news comes after IVE successfully completed their Tokyo Dome concert for their second world tour “Show What I Am” last month. Their Japan dome tour attracted around 127,000 concertgoers, and the group received strong coverage from major Japanese media after the shows.

IVE has also been performing well on Japanese music charts. Their 4th Japanese EP “Lucid Dream,” released in May, ranked No. 1 on Oricon’s weekly combined album ranking, marking the group’s third time topping the chart.

The album also recorded the highest points this year among overseas female artists and reached No. 1 on Billboard Japan’s weekly album sales chart.

With strong results in concerts, album sales, music charts, and TV appearances, IVE is continuing to build a solid position in Japan as one of the leading K pop girl groups.
