Jin Kyung is receiving praise for her performance in Netflix’s suspense drama “Notes from the Last Row”.

The series, released on June 26, follows Heo Moon Oh, a failed writer and Korean literature professor played by Choi Min Sik, who becomes obsessed with the writing talent of Lee Kang, played by Choi Hyun Wook.

In the drama, Jin Kyung plays Jo Hyun Sook, Heo Moon Oh’s wife and a psychological counselor. At first, Jo Hyun Sook appears to be living in a stable marriage, but her relationship with her husband is actually cold and distant.

Jo Hyun Sook quietly stays beside Heo Moon Oh, even when he is sensitive and difficult. When he begins to change after personally teaching Lee Kang, she watches him with both concern and support.

The character’s hidden pain also drew sympathy from viewers. Jo Hyun Sook once tried to have a child through in vitro fertilization, but the attempt failed. After that, she and Heo Moon Oh became more distant, and their loneliness grew deeper.

Jin Kyung impressed viewers by showing Jo Hyun Sook’s changing emotions in a natural way, from love and concern to sadness, resentment, and acceptance. Her detailed acting helped make the character feel realistic and relatable.

The drama also gives Jo Hyun Sook a surprising turn near the end, adding another layer of tension without losing the emotional weight of her story.

With her strong performance, Jin Kyung is drawing attention for showing a different side of herself in “Notes from the Last Row”.
