ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun Woo has received Catholic baptism while serving in the military.
On July 1, his agency Fantagio confirmed the news, saying, “It is true that Cha Eun Woo received Catholic baptism in June”.
According to reports, Cha Eun Woo, who is currently serving in the military band, received baptism through religious activities inside the military base. His baptismal name is John the Apostle.
The update drew attention because Cha Eun Woo had not publicly spoken about his religion before.
Meanwhile, Cha Eun Woo enlisted as an active duty soldier in July last year. He is currently scheduled to be discharged in January 2027.
