DAY6’s Young K shared the sweet reason why he joined the OST for SBS drama “My Royal Nemesis”.
On the June 28 broadcast of MBC’s variety show “Choi Woo Soo San”, Young K appeared as a guest and talked about his OST track “The Season That Returned Again”, which has been receiving a strong response from drama fans.
During the show, Young K performed the song live with his warm vocals. Yang Se Hyung, who is a fan of the drama, reacted excitedly and shouted, “Shin Seo Ri! Where is Shin Seo Ri?” as he became immersed in the drama’s world.
Young K then revealed that his friendship with actor Heo Nam Jun led him to take part in the OST. He said, “Heo Nam Jun is my same age friend. We kept in touch, so I joined the OST”.
“My Royal Nemesis” ended on June 20 and starred Lim Ji Yeon as Shin Seo Ri and Heo Nam Jun as Cha Se Gye.
The drama gained attention for its tense romance story, and Heo Nam Jun is currently receiving strong popularity through the series.
Young K’s OST participation is now getting more attention as fans learn about his loyal friendship with Heo Nam Jun.
