
BTS member V (Kim Taehyung), became a major topic online after attending Celine’s Men’s Spring Summer 2027 Collection in Paris, France, on June 28.
His appearance quickly created a huge reaction on X, formerly Twitter. The hashtag #TAEHYUNGxCELINE rose to No. 1 on worldwide trends, while “TAEHYUNG TAEHYUNG” also reached No. 2.
According to reports, V’s name recorded more than 1 million mentions and over 4 million engagements within just 30 minutes of the fashion show starting. After 2 hours, the numbers reportedly grew to 2.2 million mentions and 7.5 million engagements.
V arrived in Paris early in the morning after finishing BTS’s “ARIRANG” world tour concert in Madrid, Spain, on June 27. He reportedly traveled on a VIP private plane prepared by Celine.
At the event, V wore a red jacket and shirt, paired with jewelry and sunglasses. The Celine sunglasses and necklace he wore were said to have quickly sold out, showing his strong influence in fashion.
V was also welcomed by Celine CEO Séverine Merle and watched the show from the front row beside her. His meeting with Japanese actor Mirai Moriyama also gained attention, especially since V had previously recommended the film “Rage,” which stars Moriyama, to fans.
