RIIZE and BOYNEXTDOOR are showing strong results on Melon’s Global K Chart, proving the growing power of 5th generation boy groups.

For the third week of June, covering June 15 to 21, RIIZE ranked No. 2 while BOYNEXTDOOR ranked No. 6 on Melon’s Korea, China, and Japan integrated K pop chart.

RIIZE recently made their comeback with their second mini album II, led by the title track “Do your dance”.

After the album was released, the group saw a fast rise in streaming across Korea, China, and Japan. Their fan activity, including follows and likes, also increased quickly, helping them stay near the top of the chart.

BOYNEXTDOOR also showed strong chart power with their first full length album HOME. The album reflects the members’ personal emotions and memories from their journey as artists. Their loyal fandom support was also seen through both music results and fan activity numbers.

The strong results from both groups show that their popularity is not only based on streaming and downloads, but also on steady fan support.

Melon’s Global K Chart reflects both music use and fan engagement, giving a clearer look at which K pop artists are gaining attention across Korea, China, and Japan.

With RIIZE at No. 2 and BOYNEXTDOOR at No. 6, both groups are proving that 5th generation boy groups are becoming major names on the global K pop chart.
