tvN’s “See You at Work Tomorrow! is off to a strong start as episode 2 recorded solid ratings and showed an important turning point for Park Ji Hyun’s character.
According to Nielsen Korea, the June 22 broadcast of episode 2 recorded an average nationwide rating of 4.4% among paid households and reached a peak of 5.8%. The drama also ranked No. 1 in its time slot among cable and general programming channels.
In the episode, Cha Ji Yoon, played by Park Ji Hyun, found herself caught between quitting her job and taking on a new challenge. Kang Si Woo, played by Seo In Guk, offered her a spot on the TF team working to improve the Sphere Ice refrigerator.
Cha Ji Yoon first turned down the offer because she was afraid of failing. However, after seeing Kang Si Woo continue his research even after work, she slowly began to see him differently.
The episode also showed Cha Ji Yoon dealing with mixed emotions after her first love Jo Ga Eul, played by Choi Kyung Hoon, returned after disappearing eight months ago. She tried to draw a clear line by saying, “We are over,” but the scene hinted that her feelings were not fully settled.
At work, Cha Ji Yoon also stood up for Yoon No Ah, played by Kang Mi Na, during a difficult situation caused by Manager Go, played by Hong Woo Jin. This helped show Cha Ji Yoon’s stronger side.
Later, Kang Si Woo shared his honest feelings with Cha Ji Yoon and said, “It was the first time. You were the first person I thought I did not want to miss.”
By the end of the episode, Cha Ji Yoon made her decision. Instead of submitting her resignation, she chose to join Kang Si Woo’s team and said, “I will apply for the TF.” The moment marked a new start for both characters and raised interest in what will happen next.
“See You at Work Tomorrow!” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. on tvN.
