Lee Min Jung has explained the story behind a moment that caught attention online after she was seen laughing with Byeon Woo Seok at an event.
On a recent video uploaded to her YouTube channel, Lee Min Jung talked about attending an event with her husband Lee Byung Hun, where they also met Byeon Woo Seok.
According to Lee Min Jung, the conversation started when Lee Byung Hun noticed a very large ruby during the show. She said the jewel looked huge even from where they were watching, so they asked how much it cost. They were told it was around 10 billion won.
Lee Min Jung shared that Lee Byung Hun then jokingly acted like he was taking out his wallet and said, “Please give me one or two of those.” His joke made Byeon Woo Seok laugh loudly.
She said she asked Byeon Woo Seok, “You are young, but do you like this kind of joke?” Byeon Woo Seok reportedly replied, “Senior, he is so funny”, referring to Lee Byung Hun.
Lee Min Jung also addressed comments claiming she had turned away from Lee Byung Hun while laughing with Byeon Woo Seok. She clarified that this was not the case, saying Lee Byung Hun was the one who made the joke but kept a serious face on purpose.
With this, Lee Min Jung made it clear that the laughter was simply because of Lee Byung Hun’s playful joke, not anything else.
