BTS’s Jungkook has reached another major milestone on Spotify.
His solo song “Euphoria” has surpassed 700 million streams on the platform. The track was first released in August 2018 as part of a BTS album and remains the most streamed solo song by a BTS member on Spotify.
With this achievement, Jungkook now has five songs with over 700 million streams, including “Euphoria,” “Seven,” “Standing Next to You,” “Left and Right,” and “3D.”
Jungkook also has four songs with over 1.1 billion streams, setting a record as the first Asian solo artist to achieve this. His personal Spotify account has also reached 11 billion total streams across all credits.
“Euphoria” has shown long lasting popularity beyond Spotify. The song charted for 92 weeks on Billboard’s “World Digital Song Sales” chart, becoming the first Korean idol solo song to do so. It also sold over 1 million units in the United States and earned a Platinum certification from the RIAA, along with Platinum certifications in Japan and Canada.
DJ Swivel, the Grammy winning producer of “Euphoria,” previously praised Jungkook’s vocals, saying, “Jungkook has truly incredible vocal skills even without any instruments or sound effects,” and added that the song was created thanks to his strong voice and skills.
