
ZEROBASEONE member Park Gun Wook has issued an apology following a controversy over his actions at a recent fan signing event.
On June 5, Park Gun Wook posted a long message through a fan communication platform. He began by saying, “I am writing this because I want to sincerely apologize for my actions at the recent fan signing event.”
The apology came after Park Gun Wook was accused of attempting to change the result of a Polaroid giveaway event. During the event, he was reportedly seen announcing a different winning number from the one he had actually picked, which caused anger among some fans at the venue.

In his statement, Park Gun Wook admitted that he should have acted more carefully. He wrote, “At the scene, I should have judged and acted more carefully, but I failed to do so.” He added that he takes seriously the fact that his actions caused “confusion and hurt” to many people.
He also apologized to fans, saying, “Although I have always valued the love that fans send me, I am sorry that I failed to show behavior worthy of that love.” He promised that he would not take the matter lightly and would reflect on his actions.
Park Gun Wook also apologized to ZEROSE, ZEROBASEONE members, and staff. He said, “I am sorry once again for disappointing ZEROSE, who supported and believed in us during this album promotion.” He added that he was also sorry to the members and staff who work hard beside him.
He ended his apology by promising to be more careful in the future, saying he will reflect and grow so he can become someone who is not ashamed of the trust fans have given him.
