BTS member V personally stepped in after a creator who served with him in the military became the center of discussion for sharing stories from their time together.
Recently, a creator uploaded several videos about training with V at the Army Training Center. The videos included stories about going to church with V on Christmas, games they played during training, and moments from the process of selecting top trainee soldiers.
V noticed the videos and first left a friendly comment, saying, “It has been a long time. Your memory is really amazing”. His comment quickly gained attention among fans.
However, as more videos were uploaded, some fans began to worry that private stories from V’s military service were being shared too much. The creator then explained that he only wanted people to know V was a good person and said he thought it might be better to stop posting.
V responded again in a lighthearted way, writing, “Why are you stopping? Tell people more. I think it is fun”. He also joked, “Honestly, I do not even remember well”.
As the discussion continued, V later left a longer comment on June 3 to explain his thoughts. He said, “I think there are people who are worried, but I am really enjoying watching the videos.” He added that the creator had good intentions and hoped he would not worry too much about every reaction.
V also said he understood why some fans were concerned, explaining, “Since the videos are being uploaded in short parts, I think misunderstandings can happen.” He added that people who did not live with them at the time may not fully understand the mood and feelings from those days.
Looking back on their service together, V praised his former military colleague, saying, “You were the biggest ace in our platoon,” and added, “The time I spent with you remains as a really happy memory.”
He ended the comment with warm encouragement, saying he was worried the creator might be stressed because of the reactions. V joked that he did not remember the creator’s dream, but based on his strong build, he thought he may have wanted to become a bodybuilder, adding, “Fighting.”
V enlisted in December 2023 and served in the Special Duty Team of the Military Police under the Army’s 2nd Corps. He was discharged last month.
