BTS member Jungkook’s surprise running event for fans took an uncomfortable turn after some people allegedly went near his home.

On June 1, Jungkook posted a video on his personal social media showing himself running along the Han River.

He wrote, “If you catch me, selfie,” giving nearby fans a chance to meet him during the casual event.

Although Jungkook covered most of his face with a mask and hat, the background in the video made the location easy to recognize for people familiar with the Han River. Some fans who were nearby later shared photos showing that they had met him there.

However, the situation became concerning when some sasaeng fans allegedly went near Jungkook’s home instead of going to the Han River.

Jungkook responded by posting videos of himself throwing punches toward the camera and wrote, “I did not say to wait near my house. I will really expose you.”

This is not the first time Jungkook has dealt with privacy concerns near his residence. Last year, a woman in her 40s was reportedly arrested after entering the parking lot of his home without permission.

A Chinese woman in her 30s was also caught after allegedly trying to enter his home by repeatedly pressing the front door password. A Japanese woman in her 50s was also booked on similar charges.

The incident has raised concern among fans, with many stressing that Jungkook’s private space should be respected.
