Park Shin Hye is officially set to return to the small screen with “The Judge from Hell” Season 2.
On June 1, Studio S CEO Hong Sung Chang attended the SBS drama media day event “SBS DRAMA: NEXT EPISODE” in Seoul, where he shared the news for the first time.
He said, “Actress Park Shin Hye, who is currently pregnant, will return next year with The Judge from Hell Season 2”.
The announcement quickly gained attention because Park Shin Hye is currently pregnant with her second child. After giving birth and taking time to recover, the actress plans to make her acting comeback through the new season of the hit SBS drama.
“The Judge from Hell” became one of SBS’s major successful dramas, with Park Shin Hye receiving praise for her strong transformation as Kang Bit Na, a demon who enters the body of a judge.
The drama recorded a peak rating of 13.6 percent, ranked No. 1 among all channels in its time slot, and also performed well on global OTT charts.
At the same event, SBS also introduced several upcoming dramas for late 2026 and early 2027 through teaser videos.
However, the biggest surprise was the reveal of two additional titles that had not been publicly announced before: “The Judge from Hell” Season 2 starring Park Shin Hye, and “Dash” starring Shin Hye Sun.
With the success of Season 1 and Park Shin Hye’s confirmed return, many viewers are already looking forward to how “The Judge from Hell” Season 2 will continue next year.
