ZEROBASEONE member Han Yu Jin surprised everyone after revealing his impressive stock investment return on JTBC’s “Knowing Bros”.
On the episode, Han Yu Jin appeared with Christina, Choi Yena, and ZEROBASEONE’s Zhang Hao, where he shared that he first started investing when he was only 14 years old.
Han Yu Jin explained, “My dad wanted me to learn about the economy, so when I was 14, he gave me 1 million won and told me to try investing with it however I wanted.” He said that moment pushed him to study and learn more about stocks.
He then shocked the cast by revealing, “My profit has now increased by 8000%. It went from 1 million won to 80 million won.”
When asked about the types of stocks he invests in, Han Yu Jin said, “I only invest in Korean stocks.” He explained that he is currently interested in semiconductor stocks, while in the past, he invested in the marine logistics business.
Han Yu Jin also shared that he still invests, though he does not have as much time now. He added, “I do not have much time now, so I cannot do it as much, but it hit the upper price limit.”
The episode also showed Han Yu Jin’s unique and playful side when he revealed that he “raises” a rock. He said his closest friend from elementary school gave him a rock on his birthday, and he has taken care of it ever since.
He shared, “I wash it, dress it, and even put a hat on it.” He also added that he opens the window so the rock can get some outside air, making the cast laugh.
