BLACKPINK’s Jennie once again proved her powerful presence in a new fashion pictorial with Chanel.

Dazed Korea released Jennie’s three cover images for its June issue on May 19, followed by additional pictorial photos on May 22. The shoot was planned ahead of the “Chanel 2026 Métiers d’Art Collection” show, which will take place in Seoul on May 26.

In the pictorial, Jennie showed a wide range of styles, from a classic black suit to an avant garde hairpiece. The black and white photos highlighted her dreamy yet rebellious mood, along with a gender neutral charm that showed a different side of her image.

Dazed Korea described Jennie as “someone who is lovely but not safe, beautiful but not obedient,” pointing out the unique aura she has created over the years.

In the interview, Jennie opened up about her long relationship with Chanel. She said, “At first, it was a time of accepting the brand’s symbols and stories. Now, I think my understanding of Chanel has deepened, so I can naturally interpret and express it in my own way.”

Jennie also spoke about her mindset and growth. She shared, “I always did my best within the moments and opportunities given to me, and the results of much thought led to good responses.” She added that she has naturally realized her choices and stories can influence more people.

She continued, “Rather than being shaken by the noise around me, I try to focus more on the emotions and standards inside me,” showing her strong sense of self.

Meanwhile, Jennie expressed excitement for Chanel’s upcoming Seoul show, saying, “I am very excited because it is a meaningful show being held in Korea after a long time.”
