Girls’ Generation’s fun unit HyoRiSoo is already bringing laughter even before its official debut.
On May 20, a new video was uploaded to Hyo Yeon’s YouTube channel “Hyo’s Level Up” under the title, “Why are all the producers keeping their distance after HyoRiSoo’s main vocalist was decided? HyoRiSoo debut project episode 2.”
In the video, Hyo Yeon tried to call several producers to find someone who could work on music for HyoRiSoo, a unit made up of Girls’ Generation members Hyo Yeon, Yuri, and Soo Young.
However, none of the producers answered the phone. Hyo Yeon jokingly reacted, “Why are they not answering? Is HyoRiSoo too threatening? Do they not want to succeed?” making viewers laugh.
After hearing what happened, Soo Young jokingly guessed, “I think the producers got scared because you, Hyo Yeon, became the main vocalist.” Yuri also added, “They are probably scared that you will take the most parts.”
Hyo Yeon defended herself and said, “My voice is trendy these days. It has a different vibe from a typical main vocalist, so everyone will like it.”
Yuri then playfully replied, “You have no self objectivity,” adding even more humor to the conversation.
The members’ playful teasing and natural chemistry made fans excited to see more of HyoRiSoo’s debut project.
