Jun Ji Hyun is drawing attention with her behind the scenes photos from the 79th Cannes Film Festival.
On May 19, Jun Ji Hyun’s agency Peach Company shared several photos of the actress in Cannes for the film “The Colony.”
The agency wrote, “We are revealing behind the scenes photos of actress Jun Ji Hyun of ‘The Colony,’ who entered the Cannes Film Festival.”
In the photos, Jun Ji Hyun wore a white mini dress and sneakers while walking with Gu Kyo Hwan. The actress showed a bright and playful mood as the two posed together on the street.
Her simple but stylish look also gained attention, especially for how she matched an elegant mini dress with casual sneakers.
Other photos showed Jun Ji Hyun on the Cannes red carpet on May 16. She appeared in a pure white long dress and once again made playful poses with Gu Kyo Hwan, showing her cheerful charm.
Meanwhile, “The Colony” was invited to the Midnight Screening section of the Cannes Film Festival. The film follows survivors trapped inside a sealed building during a mysterious infection outbreak, as they face infected people who change in unpredictable ways.
“The Colony” held its world premiere at the Lumière Grand Theatre, the main screening venue of the Cannes Film Festival. After the screening, the film received a 5 minute standing ovation, and director Yeon Sang Ho and the cast thanked the audience with emotional reactions.
