MC Mong has spoken out against allegations surrounding him and made new claims involving Cha Ga Won’s uncle and EXO’s Baekhyun.
On May 18, MC Mong held a live broadcast on his personal social media account, where he addressed several rumors and conflicts.
He said MBC’s “PD Notebook” had asked for his position on two matters, including the claim that company operating funds were used for illegal gambling.
MC Mong strongly denied the allegation, saying, “What kind of nonsense is this? Would someone gamble illegally with company money?”
He added, “If you reveal the account where the funds came from, everything will come out. How can someone gamble with company money?”
He then claimed that he knew who “PD Notebook” had interviewed and mentioned Cha Jun Young, the uncle of Cha Ga Won.
MC Mong alleged that Cha Jun Young was “crazy about gambling” and said that, when they were close, he would often ask him to go to Las Vegas.
MC Mong also claimed Cha Jun Young once told EXO’s Baekhyun, “Baekhyun, men should know how to gamble too. Come to Vegas with me”.
However, these statements are MC Mong’s own claims, and the facts have not been independently confirmed.
MC Mong co-founded One Hundred with P Arc Group chairman Cha Ga Won in 2023, but stepped down in July last year.
Since then, he has been surrounded by claims involving conflict with Cha Ga Won, affair rumors, and illegal gambling allegations.
