SBS’s Friday Saturday drama “My Royal Nemesis” is raising curiosity with new stills of Lim Ji Yeon and Heo Nam Jun at a barbecue restaurant.
Ahead of episode 3, the drama released photos showing Shin Seo Ri, played by Lim Ji Yeon, and Cha Se Gye, played by Heo Nam Jun, sitting face to face at a simple barbecue spot. The scene draws attention because Cha Se Gye, a cold and powerful chaebol, looks more suited to a fancy restaurant than a casual meat place.
The setting also adds a playful romantic mood, as the restaurant seems to match Seo Ri’s taste.
In the stills, Seo Ri looks happy while staring at the Korean beef on the grill, while Se Gye keeps his attention on her. Their different reactions are making viewers more curious about how their relationship will change.
The drama has also been gaining strong attention since its release. “My Royal Nemesis” ranked No. 1 on Netflix’s “Today’s Top 10 Series in South Korea” and also reached No. 1 on the weekly “Global Top 10 Non English Shows” chart on Tudum for May 4 to 10.
In the previous episode, Se Gye caught viewers’ attention when he told Seo Ri, “I need you. Desperately.” With the new barbecue stills, viewers are now looking forward to seeing whether Seo Ri will accept his offer and how their unpredictable relationship will continue.
