SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama “My Royal Nemesis” is raising tension with a heated showdown between Lim Ji Yeon and Lee Se Hee.
The drama follows Shin Seo Ri, an unknown actress played by Lim Ji Yeon, who suddenly becomes “evil” after the soul of a famous Joseon-era villainess enters her body.
She then gets caught in a wild romance and war-like conflict with Cha Se Gye, a sharp-tongued chaebol played by Heo Nam Jun.
Ahead of episode 3, the drama teased a direct clash between Seo Ri and her powerful rival Yoon Ji Hyo, played by Lee Se Hee.
In episode 1, Seo Ri and Ji Hyo already showed strong tension during the “Looking for the queen” audition for Se Gye’s new brand “Dynasty”. Seo Ri did not back down in front of top star Ji Hyo and boldly spoke her mind.

She even criticized Ji Hyo’s wish to become a “wise mother and good wife” before declaring that she would stay unmarried, giving viewers a thrilling moment.
The newly released stills show Seo Ri, Ji Hyo, and agency CEO Hong Bu Sun, played by Baek Ji Won, in a dangerous three-way confrontation. The three women stare at each other with sharp eyes, making the scene feel like a two-against-one fight.
Seo Ri’s swollen red cheek also grabs attention, suggesting that something intense has already happened. Even while Bu Sun holds her wrist with both hands, Seo Ri does not look scared. Instead, she glares back at the two women with the strong aura of a villainess who refuses to lose.
Another still shows Seo Ri and Ji Hyo in an even more heated physical fight. Ji Hyo raises her hand as if she is about to slap Seo Ri, but Seo Ri stares at her with fierce eyes and does not even blink. Her powerful presence makes it clear that she is no easy opponent.
Ji Hyo’s shocked expression also raises curiosity about how this rivalry will end and why the two women ended up clashing so violently.
“My Royal Nemesis” airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m. KST on SBS.
