TWS is continuing their strong rise with their 5th mini album “NO TRAGEDY.”
According to Japan’s Oricon on May 12, TWS topped the latest Weekly Album Ranking with around 220,000 copies sold during the tracking period of May 4 to 10. This marks the group’s first No. 1 on Oricon’s Weekly Album Ranking since debut.
The result also shows major growth for the group. Their previous mini album “play hard” sold around 139,000 copies in its first week in Japan, meaning “NO TRAGEDY” showed a much stronger performance.

Oricon stated, “TWS took first place with ‘NO TRAGEDY’ after breaking their own record for highest weekly sales.”
The album also ranked No. 1 on Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales chart, further proving TWS’ growing popularity in Japan.
“NO TRAGEDY” has been showing strong results since its release. It debuted at No. 1 on Oricon’s Daily Album Ranking on May 4 and also held the top spot on May 6 and May 9.

The album also ranked high on Japan iTunes and Apple Music’s K pop album charts.
The title track “You, You” is also gaining attention on music charts. It stayed near the top of Spotify Japan’s Viral Chart for three days, while other tracks such as “I will become all your possibilities” and “Why You So Bad?” also entered Melon’s Top 100.
TWS is also performing well on Korean music shows. The group won No. 1 on KBS2’s “Music Bank” and SBS’s “Inkigayo,” earning two trophies with “You, You.”
The album’s success is not limited to Japan. “NO TRAGEDY” recorded 1,112,770 copies in first week sales, becoming TWS’ first million seller album.
With strong album sales, chart results, and music show wins, TWS is proving their fast growing power in both Korea and Japan.
