Noh Sang Hyun is drawing strong attention for his powerful change in “Perfect Crown”.

In the latest episodes, the actor showed a sharp emotional shift as Min Jung Woo, the once upright prime minister who had hidden feelings for Sung Hee Joo, played by IU. As the drama moves into its final part, Min Jung Woo has quickly become one of the most important characters in the story.

The tension began after the marriage contract was leaked, causing rumors to spread that Grand Prince Ian, played by Byeon Woo Seok, was aiming for the throne.

In response, Min Jung Woo directly told him, “Your Highness, for the peace of the royal family and the country, please end the regency”. The scene made his growing pressure and political stance clear.

His change became even more intense when Sung Hee Joo confessed her true feelings. After realizing that her heart was fully with Grand Prince Ian, Jung Woo quietly said, “That is unfortunate.” His cold expression and painful gaze left a strong impression, showing how his heartbreak was turning into something much darker.

From there, Jung Woo’s actions became more dangerous. He confronted Queen Yoon Yi Rang, played by Gong Seung Yeon, with a cold anger after learning about the attempt to kill Grand Prince Ian and the news surrounding the throne.

His tense exchange with the queen showed that he was no longer the calm and controlled prime minister viewers first knew.

The ending raised even more questions when Jung Woo requested a meeting with Grand Prince Ian at the council hall. Soon after, rising flames shocked viewers and made many curious about what his next move will be.

Noh Sang Hyun is receiving praise for making Min Jung Woo’s dark turn feel convincing instead of sudden. Through his controlled voice, sharp gaze, facial expressions, and small emotional details, he showed the pain, anger, and conflict building inside the character.

With “Perfect Crown” nearing its finale, viewers are now watching closely to see how far Min Jung Woo will go and whether his one sided love for IU’s character will fully push him into becoming one of the drama’s most frightening figures.
