Lee Yeon revealed that she does not currently have a driver’s license, surprising viewers who know her as Secretary Do in “Perfect Crown”.
On the May 9 episode of MBC’s “The Manager”, Lee Yeon appeared as a guest and showed her daily routine. Unlike her sharp and capable image in the drama, she was seen walking to her schedules and using public transportation.
Her manager explained, “She originally had a license, but she forgot to renew it, so her license is currently canceled.”
The studio members were surprised by the news, with Yoo Byung Jae and Choi Kang Hee reacting, “Her license was canceled? She is really a free spirit.”
Lee Yeon then explained that it was not because of a serious issue. She said, “It is not that I did something wrong. I just did not know I had to renew my license. No one told me.” She added, “So I ended up paying a foolish cost to get my license again.”
The revelation became even funnier because Lee Yeon’s character in “Perfect Crown” had driving scenes with IU. When asked about those scenes, Lee Yeon shocked everyone again by saying, “It was all on set. It was all CG.”
Her honest and casual confession drew laughter, showing a very different side from her professional image in the drama.
