KATSEYE is set to perform at the American Music Awards.

On May 9, HYBE and Geffen Records announced that KATSEYE will take the stage at the 52nd American Music Awards.

The ceremony will be held on May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+.

KATSEYE will join a performer lineup that also includes global artists such as Maluma, Twenty One Pilots, and Keith Urban.

The group also received 3 nominations at this year’s ceremony, including “New Artist of the Year,” “Best Music Video,” and “Breakthrough Pop Artist.”

The nominations are gaining attention because the American Music Awards consider data such as streaming, music sales, album sales, and radio airplay.

KATSEYE has recently been showing strong results on global charts. Their song “PINKY UP” ranked No. 28 on the U.S. Billboard “Hot 100” and also placed No. 47 on the U.K.

“Official Singles Top 100,” staying on the chart for 4 straight weeks. Their earlier song “Touch” also remained on the same U.K. chart at No. 98.

On Spotify, “PINKY UP” ranked No. 69 on “Weekly Top Songs Global,” while “Gabriela” ranked No. 112 and stayed on the chart for 46 straight weeks.

KATSEYE’s global reach is also growing fast. The group recorded over 33.59 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and their total social media followers increased by more than 777,000 in about a week, reaching over 48.94 million as of May 5.

With their American Music Awards stage, major nominations, and strong chart records, KATSEYE is continuing to build its presence as a fast rising global girl group.
