BLACKPINK’s Lisa is reportedly set to take the stage at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to U.S. sports media outlet The Athletic and other reports on May 8 local time, Lisa has been included in the performance lineup for the opening ceremony of the 2026 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The lineup is also said to include Katy Perry, Future, Tyla, and Anitta. Lisa is expected to perform at SoFi Stadium, where she may share the stage with Katy Perry.

Lisa’s reported appearance is gaining attention as another major global stage for a K pop artist. BTS’s Jung Kook previously performed at the opening ceremony of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Aside from the World Cup stage, Lisa is also preparing for her Las Vegas residency concert “Viva La Lisa,” which will be held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on November 13 to 14 and November 27 to 28.

Lisa has continued her global activities after releasing her solo album “Alter Ego” in 2025, completing BLACKPINK’s world tour, and attending the 2026 Met Gala with the BLACKPINK members.
