G-Dragon is set to join aespa on their upcoming song “WDA (Whole Different Animal)”, making fans even more excited for the group’s comeback.
According to KBS music video review results released on May 7, G-Dragon is listed as a featured artist on aespa’s new track “WDA”.
The news drew attention because aespa had already announced the song, but had not revealed that G-Dragon would be part of it.
aespa will release “WDA” and its music video on May 11 as a pre-release single before dropping their 2nd full length album “Lemonade” on May 29.
“Lemonade” is expected to mark a new chapter for aespa, while “WDA” will serve as the first look at the group’s new musical direction.
The collaboration is also gaining interest because aespa and G-Dragon have already crossed paths before.
Karina appeared in the music video for G-Dragon’s “Too Bad”, and aespa also appeared on the MBC music project show “Good Day”, which was led by G-Dragon.
With G-Dragon now confirmed as the surprise featured artist, many fans are looking forward to hearing what kind of sound aespa and G-Dragon will create together.
