“Yumi’s Cells 3” has wrapped up Yumi and Soon Rok’s romance with a happy ending.
The final episodes of TVING’s “Yumi’s Cells 3” were released on May 4, showing Yumi, played by Kim Go Eun, and Soon Rok, played by Kim Jae Won, moving from uncertain feelings to a clear decision about their future.
At first, Yumi rejected Soon Rok’s confession because she did not want more confusion, especially after his connection with Jenny.

However, Soon Rok did not give up. He confessed again, saying, “No matter how much I think about it, I like you, writer. I think I probably liked you from the beginning.” He also added, “Because I think I would regret it,” showing his sincere heart.
After becoming a couple, the two shared sweet moments. Soon Rok, who usually followed rules, even broke his own rule about keeping distance near the publishing company and workroom.
Later, he openly told editor in chief Dae Yong that he was dating Yumi, proving that Yumi mattered more to him than any rule.

Soon Rok also proposed to Yumi. When Yumi asked how he could be so sure after such a short time, he explained that he would not have confessed again if he had not been certain.
His words helped Yumi realize that every love is different and should not be judged by past experiences.
With support from their cells, Yumi and Soon Rok held their wedding, giving viewers the “Yum Rok couple” ending many had been waiting for.
The drama also ended with strong results. “Yumi’s Cells 3” ranked No. 1 for three straight weeks in TVING’s weekly paid subscriber contribution.
Episode 7 also ranked No. 1 in its time slot among cable and general programming channels. Globally, the drama ranked No. 1 for two straight weeks on Rakuten Viki in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania, No. 1 on Mongolia’s Inche TV, and No. 3 on Disney Plus Japan.
