Kim Go Eun says goodbye to ‘Yumi’s Cells 3’ with a wedding ring and thanks fans for letting her live as Yumi for 5 happy years

Kim Go Eun has shared a heartfelt goodbye after the ending of ‘Yumi’s Cells 3’.

On May 5, the actress posted several behind the scenes photos from the TVING original series on her social media.

Along with the photos, she wrote, “Thank you so much for loving ‘Yumi’s Cells’ season 3. I was truly happy to live as Kim Yumi for 5 years”.

She also added, “Please continue to support Yumi’s life in the future,” showing her affection for the character she has played since the series first began.

tvN’s official account also left a warm message under her post, saying, “Every moment with Yumi was happy. Let’s be happy, Yumi!” Cho Hye Jung, who played Na Hee in the drama, also wrote, “Writer Yumi, you must be happy as much as you want.”

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, ‘Yumi’s Cells’ first started in 2021 and followed the everyday life, love, and growth of Yumi with her adorable cells. Season 3 marked the final chapter of the series, with Kim Go Eun returning once again as Yumi.

The final episode of ‘Yumi’s Cells 3’ was released on TVING on May 4 and aired on tvN on May 5 at 8:50 PM KST.
