BLACKPINK’s Jennie made a strong impression at the 2026 Met Gala.
On May 4 local time, Jennie attended the event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Matching this year’s theme, ‘Costume Art’, she appeared in a glamorous but elegant look that quickly drew attention on the red carpet.
Jennie wore a bustier style column dress decorated with blue sequin leaf details. According to reports, the dress took around 540 hours to make and featured about 15,000 embroidered details, showing the detailed craftsmanship behind the outfit.
She completed the look with Chanel high jewelry made with gold and white diamonds. Her updo hairstyle with kiss curls, along with soft pink makeup and thin brows, gave the outfit a classic and polished feel.
This also marked Jennie’s fourth year in a row attending the Met Gala. She first walked the Met Gala red carpet in 2023 for ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’, where she gained attention as one of the muses connected to the late Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.
