MBC’s 'Perfect Crown' reached another strong milestone as IU and Byeon Woo Seok’s wedding scene became the center of attention.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 7, which aired on May 1, recorded 11.1% in the Seoul metropolitan area, 10.8% nationwide, and 5% among viewers aged 20 to 54.
The drama ranked No. 1 among all Friday programs in all three categories. The scene where Sung Hee Joo and Grand Prince Ian headed to the palace after their wedding also reached a peak rating of 14.3%.

In the episode, Sung Hee Joo, played by IU, and Grand Prince Ian, played by Byeon Woo Seok, officially became husband and wife.
However, their wedding did not end peacefully, as Sung Hee Joo suddenly collapsed during the ceremony.

Before the wedding, the two continued to grow closer after their yacht moment. When Sung Hee Joo tried to treat their kiss as something that happened because of the mood, Grand Prince Ian confessed, “I did not do it because the mood was good. I did it because it was you, junior.”
He also comforted Sung Hee Joo after an uncomfortable dinner with her family, telling her, “There are many things I have that you do not, and if you ask me for them, I will want to give you anything.”
The wedding seemed to end with blessings, but the mood changed when Sung Hee Joo lost consciousness. Grand Prince Ian held her in his arms with fear and shock as the wedding hall fell into chaos, raising curiosity about what will happen next.
