BTS Jungkook’s 'GOLDEN' reaches another major milestone with gold certification from the UK’s BPI

BTS’s Jungkook has made another major record in the UK with his first solo album 'GOLDEN.'

'GOLDEN' has sold more than 100,000 units in the UK and received a BRIT Certified Gold certification from the British Phonographic Industry.

According to World Music Awards, Jungkook is the first K-pop solo artist to receive a Gold album certification in the UK.

His songs also showed strong results. “Seven” sold more than 400,000 units in the UK and earned Gold certification. “Standing Next to You” and “3D” each sold more than 200,000 units and received Silver certifications.

'GOLDEN' also stayed on the UK Official Albums Chart Top 100 for 8 weeks, setting a record for a K-pop solo album.

“Seven” entered the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100 at No. 3 and stayed on the chart for 14 weeks, also setting a record for a K-pop solo song.

Jungkook also charted 4 songs at the same time on the UK Official Top 100 chart for 2 straight weeks, showing his strong music power in the UK.

His global achievements continued as 'GOLDEN' stayed on Billboard 200 for 25 weeks, ranked No. 1 on iTunes album charts in 106 countries and regions, and passed 7 billion total streams on Spotify, becoming the fastest full-length album by an Asian artist to reach the mark.
