Yoo Su Bin is gaining attention for his charming performance in MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama 'Perfect Crown'.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 7 of 'Perfect Crown', which aired on April 25, recorded a nationwide rating of 11.2%. This marked a new personal best for the drama, showing its steady rise in popularity.
In the drama, Yoo Su Bin plays Choi Hyun, the loyal aide of Grand Prince Ian, played by Byeon Woo Seok. Choi Hyun is deeply loyal to the prince, but when the two are alone, he also acts like a close friend who can speak honestly and comfortably.
His character has also been bringing light humor to the story. When Grand Prince Ian becomes frustrated after Sung Hee Joo, played by IU, refuses an invitation, Choi Hyun tells him, “Just give up. It seems like she does not even want to be involved… I would hate it too, after asking to break off the engagement and then not acting cool about it”.
Choi Hyun also caught viewers’ attention with his growing interest in Do Hye Jung, Sung Hee Joo’s secretary.
After learning that her parents run a flower shop, he jokingly gives her the nickname “flower spoon” and later asks, “What kind of person do you like?” hinting at a possible sweet storyline.
With his warm charm and detailed acting, Yoo Su Bin is being praised as one of the scene-stealers of 'Perfect Crown'.
