BTS's Jungkook takes the top spot as the most searched male group idol on Korean YouTube

BTS’s Jungkook is once again showing his strong popularity across major online platforms.

According to music update accounts About Music and Pop Planet, Jungkook ranked No. 1 as the most searched male group idol on Korean YouTube in 2026.

This is not the first time Jungkook has ranked high on YouTube search lists. He also took No. 1 among the most searched male group idol members on Korean YouTube in 2024, even while serving in the military.

In 2025, he ranked No. 2 among the most searched male idols on Korean YouTube.

Jungkook has also shown strong results outside Korea. He reportedly ranked No. 1 as the most searched K pop male idol group member on United States YouTube for two years in a row in 2024 and 2025.

In Japan, he ranked No. 1 among the most searched male idol group members on YouTube over the past 10 years.

His online presence also continues across other platforms. Jungkook reportedly ranked No. 1 as the most searched K pop idol on Google for five straight years and No. 1 among K pop stars on Tumblr for five straight years.

On TikTok, his personal hashtag “#jungkook” reached 300 billion views, while the platform also recorded more than 40 million posts related to him.

Recently, Jungkook’s “Hooligan” challenge video on Instagram also drew attention after passing 100 million views in just four days and recording more than 2.3 million shares.

With these records, Jungkook continues to prove his strong influence as one of the most talked-about K pop stars online.
