Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin’s relationship is starting to change in Sold Out on You.
Episode 4 of SBS’s Wednesday Thursday drama Sold Out on You, which aired on April 30, showed Matthew Lee, played by Ahn Hyo Seop, slowly opening his heart to Dam Ye Jin, played by Chae Won Bin.
The drama is also gaining attention overseas. In its first week, Sold Out on You ranked No. 1 on Netflix’s global Top 10 non English TV show chart as of April 30, 2026.
Episode 4 also recorded a peak rating of 4 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.
In the episode, Matthew Lee began seeing Dam Ye Jin in a different way after discovering her struggles and watching her help the villagers.
When a large amount of sweet corn from Deokpung Village was at risk of going to waste, Dam Ye Jin suggested selling it through live commerce.
With help from Matthew Lee and the villagers, she successfully sold out the corn and proved her skill as a top show host.
Matthew Lee also showed quiet concern for Dam Ye Jin after she felt dizzy from overworking herself.
He asked, “Why are you so determined to overwork yourself?” He later smiled after finding her note that said, “I can sell essence better than corn,” hinting that his feelings were slowly changing.
Later, Matthew Lee found Dam Ye Jin’s medicine envelope and realized she may have been struggling with sleeping pills. Seeing part of his past self in her, he decided not to ignore her pain.
The episode ended with a meaningful moment between the two. After Dam Ye Jin became anxious while waiting alone in the dark, Matthew Lee appeared, and she hugged him in relief.
He handed her only one day’s worth of medicine and told her, “Dam Ye Jin, let’s see each other every day.”
His words showed that he had decided to help her take only the proper amount of medicine while also staying close to her.
With this, Matthew Lee and Dam Ye Jin’s relationship is expected to move from distance and misunderstanding to a deeper connection.
