WOODZ and BLACKPINK’s Jennie showed their longtime friendship in a new YouTube video.

On the 29th, WOODZ uploaded a video titled “A date with Jennie for no reason” on his YouTube channel. He introduced Jennie as his guest and shared that this was their first time appearing together in one video.

WOODZ said, “Actually, we have been friends for a long time, but this is the first time we are greeting everyone together in one video.” Jennie also showed her excitement and said, “Since there is a camera, this is really fun.”

The two went shopping together and looked back on their past. WOODZ first said he had known Jennie for about 10 years, but Jennie corrected him, saying, “What do you mean 10 years? Think about our age.”

WOODZ then explained that he first greeted Jennie during a high school festival, when she was already known as a famous trainee.

He added, “After that, we were trainees at the same company,” and said they became close around 10 or 11 years ago.

Jennie also recalled their friendship using WOODZ’s real name, Cho Seung Youn. She said, “Seung Youn kept saying to me, ‘Play with me, play with me. I wish I had a fun friend like you.’”

WOODZ then revealed, “Actually, we went to the same elementary school,” and Jennie agreed, saying, “That’s right. We have a deep story.”

Their comfortable conversation and long history drew attention from fans, who were surprised to learn how far back their friendship goes.
