BTS’s Jungkook has reached another major social media milestone.

Jungkook’s personal Instagram account recently surpassed 20 million followers, about 9 months after he opened the account in July last year.

Although the account was created in July, he only started actively uploading posts in February, making the growth even more impressive.

Among his 10 posts, Jungkook’s “Hooligan” challenge video, uploaded on the 22nd, recorded the highest views on his account.

The video passed 100 million views in just 4 days. He also has 5 videos with over 50 million views.

The “Hooligan” challenge video also gained more than 2 million reposts within 2 days. It became the third most reposted post in Instagram history, following Lionel Messi with 2.6 million reposts and Taylor Swift with 2.5 million reposts.

The record is drawing even more attention because Jungkook reached it with 20 million followers, while Messi has about 500 million followers and Taylor Swift has about 280 million followers.

Jungkook previously deleted his old personal Instagram account in 2023, which had 52.4 million followers at the time.

Now, his new account is once again showing his strong global influence.

In addition, Jungkook’s personal TikTok account recently surpassed 29 million followers, further proving his popularity across major social media platforms.
