BTS’s Jimin has reached another major milestone with his solo song “Filter.”

“Filter,” which was released in 2020 as part of BTS’s 4th full album Map of the Soul: 7, has surpassed 1 billion on demand audio streams worldwide.

On demand streaming refers to cases where listeners directly search for or choose a song on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music, making the record meaningful because it reflects active listener interest.

The song has also continued to perform strongly across major platforms. “Filter” surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify in January and currently has around 511 million streams.

It is the third most streamed track from Map of the Soul: 7, following the title track “ON” and the pre release song “Black Swan.”

In Korea, “Filter” has recorded 136.8 million streams on Melon, making it the most streamed BTS credited solo song on the platform.

On YouTube, the audio track has also reached about 134.7 million views, despite not being an official music video. The song has also passed 630,000 listens on Shazam.

Jimin’s “Filter” previously reached No. 1 on iTunes charts in 119 countries and regions in July 2024. With its latest 1 billion on demand streaming record, the song continues to show Jimin’s strong global music power.
